main reason I never use self checkouts

Well firewood packaging, I see on such a small scale and it isn't exactly going to take over the world because in time
and not too far from now wood stoves will be banned completely.

As for Walmart, I can only say I was totally against the self checkouts and extremely angry when most of
the checkouts were gone in favor of 2 huge areas of self checkouts. I started to ask random employees about
the effects of the self checkouts and they all said that they did not have enough workers and were putting in long
shifts because of it.
At the entry way, there is the greeter and they are always handing out pamphlets for job recruitment .
They need full time, part time whatever you can give them.
I now this is not everywhere but that has been my experience personally.

We cannot change what is inevitably going to happen. We cannot stop it.

I love my woodstove - free heat from my own trees, and trees are a renewable resource. I would like to see an automatic wood stacker though. :thumbsup:
