Okay so I'm a Buzz TV Box advocate, I even used to sell them from my shop back when they released the XPL2000. I've always liked them and have purchased them as they progressed in their models.

I was pretty excited to see the specs in the XRS4000 and have had it for a couple of months now but my excitement has been slowly diminishing as I have been somewhat disappointed with a couple of things.

The box, while connected to my 500 mps internet package and using a live tv subscription works extremely well, it really does shine I have to admit but when I disconnect the Ethernet and use WiFi it's performance is not stable. I have tried using it both on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and they both seem to have the same issues....plays for a while then stops. When I head into the settings it shows (Connected but No Internet), I have to stop the WiFi and restart it for it to work again and then after about 20 to 30 minutes it stops again. After going back to Ethernet there is absolutely no buffering. I have other boxes like Nvidia Shield and another Buzz TV box like my XPL2000 I don't have these issues. So I'm not sure if this is just a one off issue, like I happen to have a bad box or of course it still could be something conflicting with the box I'm not certain.

I have good Asus router and update the firmware regularly. The box is literally 5 meters away from the box with no obstructions or walls and although it works fine on Ethernet its very inconvenient to run it across the living room floor.

I would be eager to hear from others on their experiences with their XRS4000 WiFi or any feedback they may have with my issue.

I had to go look to see if mine was wired and it's not...lol
It's the xr4000 and I've been using it since before public release no issues
I have not heard of any issues and the buzz dev should be around to comment on your issue later

I have no issues with mine on the 5ghz ,and I'm using an Asus router too the ac3200, probably is a router issue (I'm just guessing).

Thanks guys for your input , it's helpful. I'm really leaning towards it being my particular box as it's not doing it to other boxes in the same location so I'll wait for an update from Buzz and see if that fixes the issue. Thanks again.

If it is a particular box issue with the one box you're using
I doubt an update will fix this issue.

Try changing the Wifi Channel # maybe on your router and reconnect the box via Wifi afterwards.

I'm pretty sure it's not that but I can try it. I have quite a few android boxes and none of them are having this problem. The XRS is the only one with this issue. Additionally I have been getting a "Bluetooth keeps stopping" window popping up every time I turn on the device and if I'm not mistaken the Wifi and BT are present in the same chip so I'm wondering if I just have a hardware problem.

With an error like this, this does mean the Bluetooth isn't working properly

Are you able to try a factory reset on the box, and see if this issue still persists?

If so, then it seems like a hardware issue which will allow you to get the box covered under warranty.
