I have one for 7-8 years
just once module changed and never modded internally for extra ventilation
got glued 4-7up, 2litre plastic caps on its under surface (legs)

still best for HD picture quality.
Sd not that impressive.

I still have a couple of them, yes the picture quality is great. I never had a problem with mine overheating and mine worked great just quit using it and never
went back to it. I used to use it for bev and it worked great for on 82

The SV 8000hd work just fine...better on south than north though:they are a little quirkier on north.
