I can't test with OK3, since my OK3 sub is "married" again to my Buzz box again (and I'm not going to go through the details for that again. There is other threads for that issue).

But I did test this version with 2 other services, and both TV and VOD are fine.
Maybe someone can test this latest version with ok3. Options are always good.

I had to do a factory reset and then had to load all y info. Do I need a stb emulator reloaded as my MAC ones will not play. My apk ones work great.

You need to clarify your issue a little better

My programs using apk files work great but the programs (like ok2) using the MAC address will load the channels but all I get is Stream is not available and then goes to the buffering. I did a factory reset to clean up some of the things I wasn`t using.

You really need to clarify..
There are apk that are user/pass based software (like smarters), and there are apk which are just hardcoded old versions of STBEmu, which are also MAC based. An APK is just an Android Package Kit (which essentially is every android program you install - MAC based or otherwise).

If you are using a MAC based program, are you entering the correct portal URL ? Make sure you are using an up to date URL, some services did change URL. When you start STBemu, does it show the "loading portal" message in the beginning ? If not, then you have the wrong portal.

If he had the wrong url, wouldnt it say 'cannot load portal' ? Does your url have the /c at the end. Read somewhere that some had it and others didnt......

You got the STBEmu that I had posted in a previous post (or even get the Non-Pro version from play store for trial) ? I can assure you it works fine on Android 6, so it is not the OS that is too old. I've used it on old archaic generic NexBox android box without an issue.

Have you confirmed you are using the correct portal ? Does your portal have :8000 in it, stalker_.. ? Portal did change a few times in the past. Check with your seller to ensure you have the proper "current" portal address.

However these boxes were some of the first boxes based on the S912 CPU (instead of the classic S905). They were more powerful, but android 6 implementations were buggy as hell. Actually many of the 7.1 versions were crap also. I have a BeeLink GT1, and it is also S912, quite fast, but way too buggy. And it has been sitting on the shelf for ages.

Many of the Codecs were hacked so bad, that many things just don't play properly.

Doesn't make a difference. I always use the MAG254, but I don't think it changes anything really.

Latest version was released about 5 days ago, and I will post it after this reply.

In STBEmu settings, there is an option under Settings --> Common Settings near the bottom, that tells STBEmu to "always use system volume level". This was originally added for some Android TV devices (like the MiiBox and older shield), but some other devices may need to have this option checked. You may need to exit and then restart STBEmu for that to take effect.

EDIT: For anyone having issues installing the version above, below is another version. It is listed as the same version (1.2.12), but I think that STBEmu now releases separate builds. This installed on my arm64 based box, but I realized it when I tried to also install it on one of my old Galaxy TAB A tablets.

Apparently from one source:
build 10121202 --> armeabi-v7a
build 10121203 --> arm64-v8a

Funny part is that when running the app, on the overlay screen, it says build 10121205 for both versions :)

STBEmu is only for those with a MAC based subscription.

If you have username/password type of sub, you can either use the XC login option on a Buzz box.
Or if you have a generic Android box, you can use the "wickediptv apk" that is in one of the Stickys on this forum. Or you can download and use Tivimate which is in my opinion one of the nicest app (it's not free however and no decent hacked versions out there) for anyone that does not have a BuzzTV box.

For OK3, I am pretty sure it works and I have tried it a while back.
OK4 I have not tried, so I can't confirm for sure.

I had him 'add' another profile for OK3 and OK4. I did try to 'reset' the device from the panel also. We will keep messing around with OK3 then till we figure out the issue.

Since you are using STBEmu, you can change the MAC :) Maybe it's been compromised and on many of the public lists out there.

I only use STBemu and all you need is URL ok3.se with http of course and make sure to change the player to ijk and same for ok4

Actually I do have a copy of it, but I did not post it, because from the ONLY trusted source I have, it is HUGE (compared to previous releases). Reason being is that with this release, they have merged all the different platforms (arm7, arm8, x86, etc.) all into a single installer. So instead of being under 50MB, it is now a whopping 322MB. For most boxes, it may not be an issue, but for some with older firesticks with limited onboard storage, this MAY be an issue.

All versions I found that have arm7 or arm8 split out, I did not trust (say all sorts of 3rd party content), so I will not share those (and they break the original signature obviously). Not sure if this will be the way they will be released from now on, but I guess we'll see going forward.

I have not updated my posts, since before christmas. I just have not had a chance to.
2.0.12.4 is the latest. If you have it, then use that. I will post it shortly also.

I honestly don't even use stbemu any more. I have switched to buzztv boxes, and have never looked back. No comparison.

The latest versions are no longer available in standalone, untouched, apk files since everything is updated in bundles now. There are custom extracts for apk, but they are considered "mods" and typically for the v8a platforms (64 bit).

IF you think that something more recent would solve your problems (which I doubt), then try installing the STBEmu non-pro version from the google play store (which is free) and test. If it fixes your problem, then buy the pro, it is less than $8 :) If you prefer, you can also try Tivimate. The paid version, which has a trial available, does support MAC subs. I don't know if the free version supports MAC.

I personally have not used STBEmu in ages. But it worked fine with all the servers I used to use back then. I now use BuzzTV boxes primarily, and have no use for 3rd party software since everything needed is already integrated in them. But I rarely use MAC anymore anyhow, I use XC mostly.
