I gave up on Valentines Day 2 years ago...on the last one, I went to all the trouble to get nice flowers.I rummaged around the cemetery for nearly an hour before I found some nice ones (hard to find roses in the cemetery in February!)I even remembered to throw out the sympathy card.
I get home & gave the flowers to my GF:all she has to say for my efforts is "gee...now I have to keep my legs in the air all weekend !"
I told her to get a vase instead.
