Got my dream link hooked to a bell eliptical dish,how does one switch seamlessly between 91 and 82 ?

No switch.Lnb,s are ones that came with dish.Too much snow on roof now to check.Was able to receive both sat at first,now only 91 wants to go.

Don,t have any, just ditched my bell sub and hooked up to my t5.

Then it must be a DishPro lnb?Do you seethe 82 sat in the setup menu?Does it show any signal on the 82???

Shows a great signal but it's a redline.

If you have signal in red, it's in your settings.Post your settings for both sats.

correct but you still need to set up your switch settings in your dreamlink to reflect the internal switch on the lnb

If you had legacy lnb's, you would have external sw21 switching.You need to find an EXCACT picture on the net of your dish setup & post it.

I don,t understand.Both 91 and 82 were working on my bell sub which I ditched yesterday, I thought all I had to do was move the cable to the t5.

No sir....did you read my post above????.It seems to me you have no idea of the lnb type you have:there are several choices,depending on how old your installation is.It sounds like you have a DP44.If so, your settings MUST reflect that.

I can see a 2 to 1 switch from the ground,that's all I can give you.To much snow and ice on roof. There are 2 individual lnb,s .About 20 years old.

Suddenly 82 works and 91 is gone and I didn,t change anything.91 quit so I punched in 2400 and tsn came right up.This is to weird.

Then for the 82:82 nimiq 4/lnb power on/lnb type single/lnb frequency 11250/22k on/diseqc off/diseqc off/legacy sw21 dish 2.

Seems to be OK , took a bit to come alive on 91 but it's up too now.Thanks a million,hope it stays good.
