Hey guys I have a question see if anybody can give your thoughts
My buddy has iks and is freezing lots but I put his code on my box and doesn't freeze at all any ideas ?

I haven't used IKS for over a year.However I install Dishes and legit Receivers.I know IKS uses very little Internet so that is probably not the Problem.However there are many issues with the Cables,Switches,LNB'S and also among Receivers with blown Capacitors.So perhaps he could try his receiver at your place for starters,install his LNB on your dish and work towards eliminating the defective problem.

sounds good Blazerbong sounds like i have some work to do :) i just called him and he says he has had problems with internet so hopefully its that i told him give it another day and we'll go from there. i got him to check the signal and all seems to be holding at strength and quality both staying around mid to high 80's so i'm thinking if it was signal problems you'd notice it in there wouldn't you ?

I had a freezing problem last year. I changed both of my LNBs and everything has been working good since then.

he hasn't said anything in a couple days so maybe a hard reset of everything did the trick the weather is getting better now so really wasn't too interested in trying all this in the cold lol

No all is good did a hard reset it was his internet giving him problems

First thing I would do is put it on the free channels of each satellite. that way you can narrow it down to internet or dish/ cable/ switch.
