Bell ExpressVu Receivers

I was wondering if either the 2700 or the 3100 receivers can be modified for iks? I know some of the receivers could but not sure which ones and if its still possible.

you don't mod the receiver
you use an avr or atmega and a program or modded router

Which is perfect. Someone locally selling both for $50. Is it worth picking them up and making it work for 91?

by time you find a avr or atmega and set it up with a router modded or running a pc to keep it up all the time your probably better off to got to ebay and find a v30 fta jynxbox knockoff
then you can get sd and hd

or your local kijiji or craigslist

and servers will be much happier with a box providing sid's

I'm sure they will still work for sd on the 91 sat with an avr.The 3100 had a pretty good sd picture.The 2700 was pretty clunky.You will have to pull the box keys/cam i.d. if you don't have them, so you need a jtag & skills to do so.If you don't have a modded router,you will need acomputer to run echo client or equivalent.
I think an fta stb is a far better option.
