Arq 100 xr4500

Got my remote today. Plugged in dongle, batteries in remote reboot box. Very few buttons work.
The bluetooth must be working, if I cover front of remote some buttons work.
In settings I go to remote and accs and the box just hangs scanning for devices.

??? No nothing came with remote and a search online just yields a video showing the remote... any help?

I dont know isnt that why it came with a dongle?
Maybe the air mouse? All I know is it doesnt work except a few buttons

it isn't bluetooth hence the dongle
there was a patch file for the 3000
not sure if it worx for newer models

Unless someone else here can confirm it I really dont want to brick this box.

Since this box seems to go bluetooth right on first startup, I figured that was a bluetooth dongle. It doesnt say anything on it.

the dongle is required to communicate to remote except for tv/source/stb buttons which are IR

Now that I unpaired the original remote with box to overcome the power on off I can not re pair the box with the orig remote for bt

no ,same batch i got from buzz and sent out to some testers
