Looking To Upgrade From SV-8K is Dreamlink Okay?

I am looking to upgrade from my old SV-8K is there a specific Dreamlink model to look for that will do what the SV-8K does? Do the Dreamlinks do ATSC over the air not that it matters? How about HD module like the SV-8K. Just curious on capabilities.

Look for a t5 or t4
The module for the hd model is harder to find
I see them often on kijiji
If they have a board installed you will see 8psk somewhere in the menu

T5 is the latest version:more readily available & more likely to be in the best used condition.I have both,but like the T5 better because it has a front display,where my T4 doesn't.Otherwise very similar.Both work very well.

Yes....the difference is the front display.Other than that,functionally the same,use the same turbo 8psk,ect.Very stable,but still benefit from supplemental cooling.

Cant beat the Sonicview 8000 have a couple 10 years old tried others for IKS today cant beat it.

The SV360= 91-North only, no HD

"If" one can live with the one and not both then any of the SV's should work. 8000(no module), 360P and or 360E. Easy enough to find out if one is in the shadow that bird.

TP24-12559-20000-L(H)-7/8 #195...listed free n clear.

Should be possible after the fact to even get one TP on the other bird.

Could even possibly get either to convert to wireless wifi if one wanted.
