is anyone reporting on sat9182 the past few days issues with drop in signal strength at certain times of day
on some channels and on some of the weaker channels getting message bad signal no signal .
at time theres no wind or rain when this happens . later the signal strength on the dreamlink t5 shows signal strengths coming up enough to level 45 to 50 now and picture comes in.. can this be iks issue at server end ..
due to internet being used by home workers and home schooling due to pandemic ..
or is it something to do with lnb ,, dish alignment or cabling problem outside..
voltages at lnb tested fine..

thanks for your help ..

any ideas and any further troubleshooting .
will also check with reseller of sat9182 to see if any issues.

You are having hardware issues at your location. An Iks provider does not have any influence on your satellite signal reception. They only provide the code words that give you a picture. You need to do some troubleshooting of your signal, switches, cabling etc. Is there a tree branch in the way for example that will cause signal loss. Might your dish have moved? Are your settings correct? How old is your cable? Is there any corrosion in your connections?

Your probably experiencing what is called "Phase Inversion", this can happen at certain times of the year, month, day, it were the signals cumming down from the satellite bounce off something, this could be the ground, a large body of water, a large building or metal roof.

If your dish elevation is low to the horizon then this could be the case, what is the elevation on your dish?
