Little Johnny is passing his parents’ bedroom in the middle of the night in search of a glass of water.

Hearing a lot of moaning and thumping, he peeks in and catches his folks in the act.

Before dad can even react, little Johnny exclaims, “Oh, boy! Horsie ride! Daddy, can I ride on your back?”

Daddy, relieved that Johnny’s not asking more uncomfortable questions, and seeing the opportunity not to break his stride, agrees.

Johnny hops on and daddy starts going to town.

Pretty soon mommy starts moaning and gasping.

Johnny cries out, “Hang on tight, Daddy! This is the part where me and the milkman usually get bucked off!”

If you remember what a milkman is, you're old.

Yeah, and I also remember drinking the cream off the top of the milk.

Yes I also remember having the Milk delivered to the Front Door in those GLASS DE-CANTERS/JARS

and the Plastic bags.

I was just a little kid at the time
I remember a flap in the front door where we would leave the empties (glass jars)
which milkman reached in and replaced for full ones
we'd leave one ,, get one -- leave two get two ,, and so on
Milkman came to the house on Saturdays and got paid for the week

The door flap was so the milk was placed in the house ,, keep it from freezing during
the winter months

we had a little door in the wall by back door
get up in the morning and wouldn't have to go outside to get milk

And at about 20 cents a quart they still could pay someone to deliver it......I lived close to the main railroad tracks as a Kid, and remember the little milk door,(in the outside closet wall) Dad devised a little latch to keep the hobo's from stealing the milk, cream and butter, latch it open with the empty's in place, then when milkman dropped off the full ones he tripped the latch, once this was done you could not open the door from outside till it was reset or opened from the inside. Everyone in the neighborhood wanted one, Dad made a tidy sum from that.

Ohhh anyone remember what a Hobo was??

I remember the wood boxes for milk on all the front porches and how we used to throw an M-80 in there and run 'cause the boxes blew into a million pieces...it was fun lol.
