Buzz XRS 4500 and XR 4000 freezing

Both these receivers will freeze when the system buffers, spinning circle, but will not come back until I do a channel change like up or down for a second. My other receiver, a DL T1, does not do that.
Any fix for this?

Means only that channel is down...move to another one till d service u use fixes them!
I own the 4500 and all i have to say is only good things, great toy !!

My XRS4000 is doing the same thing and a friend is the same as well.

Well the channel or channels aren't down as what I do fixes them again for awhile.

Mine does it on occasion a quick channel change brings it back. I sometimes lose audio as well and channel change fixes that,maybe once or twice a day

Maybe u should start ur own thread and see if someone can help u out !

if the server wasnt freezing it wouldnt be an issue I have 5 that i might have to channel change once a week
Have you tried buffer settings?

NBS, I've been waiting for your comment. This happens to me on both receivers maybe every 15 minutes more or less. My buffer is set at 5 or 8 seconds. What do you recommend?

i have mine set at 0 but my speed is 200 up 180 down

I have no issues on 4 different services
and I know buzz team has tested even the crappy services before releasing an update but even they can't make a service better

Well, the strange thing to me is that when using my DL T1 I don't have this problem but on the two Buzz receivers I do. Kind of points to the Buzz it seems to me.

The longer you have it set for the longer it takes for the channel to come back.Hence the spinning circle. With 10mbps,assuming it's that all the time and your not doing much else on the internet then it will work. But it's likely a server problem. I have seen a few channels actting up lately. If that happens i just switch to another server. Not 1 through 6 either. :thumbsup:

I have about the same speed as you in Latin America. My buffer is set to 3 sometimes when I arrive home and switch on it has the spinning circle. A channel change works for me, I'm using OK3.

Love this box but there are player issues. Secondary buffers quite a bit, default is better. But default loses audio after a min. They need to do something or just we all switch to formuler.

I have 0 buffering with secondary on vod Default works fine on live tv
Have you ever posted which servers you are having issues with?
