Hi guys I am a reseller for Ok3, I have had customer’s messaging me saying the service is freezing like crazy are you guys having any issues too. All my clients use stbemu by the way if that helps

I have about 30 favs and they are all fine but I use a buzz

There all freezing like a good 75% of the channels so I don’t know if it’s a app isssue or stb issue

I've been watching it all day with very little freezing but as NBS said, channel numbers would help?

451,195,196,197,198,199 the list goes they are freezing so what i mean by freezing is. it will load the channel up freeze for a good minute then play then freeze and repeat its self over an over again. so maybe its a issue with stbemu ?

You should be using latest version. I have had repirts of issues with some french which are being worked on

1.2.3.2 is the latest and is posted in the stickys
You need to update from 1.6

I don't have a firestick (so don't know if it works with that), but 1.2.6.0 is the latest version (released on July 19) and it is posted in the stickies (as herk mentioned).

i know that i use that version for all my android box users, but i have a different version for the firestick users. one other question is, is there two different urls for ok3 like a shortened version an a full path version ? because im trying to use stalker client on kodi instead of stb on firestick and i keep getting auth fail ?

i finally got the firestick to the proper version but i am still having this issue. what settings can i check in the stb to see if that is causeing a issue

Are you using the :8000 in your URL ? If so, remove the :8000. Buddy of mine still had it on his buzz and was complaining it was freezing. He brought it over, it was not freezing at my place, but all I changed afterwards was to remove that (not really thinking anything of it). Then when he took it home, he told me everything seemed to be perfect now.

it worked fine yesterday on a old ass version i get home firestick doesnt work and couple other customers. im kinda lost for words right now question has any of you guys used this service through kodi. just so i have a temporay fix for the time being ?

strangest thing. I have been using buzz 2000 with ok3 with no issues till now. totally not watchable. It never acted like this in the past. W hat's up with that?

there was definitely issues yesterday with ok3 server. 4 boxes in different locations were not working well. maybe mac issues i don't know but today all working flawlessly.

During these times when many are working from home, some schools have already started online classes, and others are trying to get those last couple of online games in before they start for good, many ISP networks are overwhelmed. So it may not even be an issue inside with your home network, but rather your ISP, or any one of their Peers. So it depends on routes, equipment, capacity, and all other bunch of variables (won't go into the technical lingo).

Also, many ISP that don't have the required capacity, are even "trying" to enable some sort of QoS (prioritization), but that often can mean that many transfers from all sorts of CDN may suffer slowdowns through some network peers depending on the ISPs choices.

I think i found the issue, it was a issue with my ping I believe when i was doing a network test I was getting 156ms for ping on a cable which is stupid high for a Ethernet cable connection

Wow that's actually super high for any type of connection.

155ms is my ping times, if I try to ping across the other side of the world to the Science university of Tokyo :)

Did you figure out what is causing your lag ? Cable, Switch, ISP ?

no i havent because today my service spiked to 60ms, so i think its a issue with the isp also is anyone having issues with the cbc channels

I have been putting off a vpn but under recommendations i invested. Well the issues I have been having with the freezing and speed of the ok3 program has worked flawlessly. Don't know what the technical affects it has but works

First post guys.

Just thought I would chime in with my experience. I have some specific "friends" in my list in the Hamilton and Niagara region that are having a specific problem with cogeco internet and accessing ok2. I believe cogeco may be trying to block that specific provider at this time. It has been hit and miss for over a week, and today it went full pause every 10 seconds. These friends don't have vpns yet.

I and many others in my area have cogeco also so that is the root of the problem. A thank you to vpn

Do you run the VPN through your router or each individual device like on the PC, Tablet, Buzz box, etc.? Never used a VPN before.......

depends on the router ,most vpns allow lots of devices on one ip
I think ipvanish is 10 devices

Ok, well my friend is only having issues with the buzz box (cogeco isp). Would it be easier to just use the VPN on the buzz box instead of the whole network?

You have to buy a vpn but once purchased and you sign in that's it

sure some probably do, but as they say you get what you pay for..... most paid ones work real well, and are really cheap if you sign up for a year plus.

Yes.

I have been having connection and authentication errors over the last 24 hours when trying to connect, which has gotten progressively worse. Right now it will not connect to server at all.

South asian channels were added to ok3 already.
