Is the Mag 254 box, outdated for today's IPTV services? I have a friend who has one and says picture is poor quality, and box is slow. Should we replace it or could it be server or something else?

I just ran into the same problem. Updated to a newer mag and back in business.

I have a Mag254 & it is working fine ! The problem is either the server you subscribe to or your ISP !!

A server or isp wont help improve the pic quality of a mag 254...lol

But for many people the picture quality is adequate with the 254.I'm not referring to myself though:I'm picky about image quality

my grandfather would only watch hockey on a black and white too...lol
