XR 4000 Turning On

My XR 4000 about every 3 or 4 times when I turn it on with the remote will show No Signal. I have to unplug and replug to get it to start. Any ideas?

Possible power supply problems??? Is the power supply an external one? (what is sometimes called a ""Wall Wart"") See if it is hot or unusually warm to the touch, if so then try a new one with the same voltage, current rating (current rating can be higher then the old one) and correct power plug to the receiver.(there are several types)

You can always use one with a higher DC current rating, but not one with a lower or higher DC voltage rating.

How old is the unit in question?

Issue is the hdmi, or try a different port on the TV set

I am trying both, a different HDMI and different port, so I'll give it a few times and report back.
