i always forget the O-4 & O-5 which color is first, is the gold first or is the silver first, should never have been a problem and its been so long that i have even seen the officers insignias, as for enlisted i never really understood the army stripes for pay grades, as for AF count the stripe (3) to me meant E-4, navy and CG no problem, have a friend that a "Bird" and another thats LCDR have not seen either in years.
