Anyone sub to both sat9182 & b42891 and dynamically use both. From the up and down threads it seems like it isn't uncommon for these services to go down so I wonder if setting up a small web server that opens a session with both services and then uses the one that responds the fastest. Then if one service goes down you should at least have the other automatically kick in resulting in 100% uptime.
If you lose service because of individual server issue, redundancy is fine.If you lose service because of ecm, there is no redundancy.

Don't Know about all rec. able to switch servers when one goes down, but DL's I believe will auto switch to a working one
when one is down etc.

Are ECM a common event on North? I remember southern providers used to get hit 2-3x a month.
No they're not.Last one was near a year ago IIRC.Server issues are more common place
If they come from the same "seeder" there is not point. If the north seeders are different then it's practical.
But as mentioned ECM's are rare so most north have most all channels all the time.
