Universal remote

Has anyone successfully been able to use a universal remote to run their T5. Mine is failing badly.

Thank you for the info. I was sceptical about the remotes on eBay just because I figured they were just universal remotes and I could just go buy one from anywhere and try.

Harmony remotes are a great unified replacement.It can be programmed to do all the original T5 remote does.I use both the 650 & 700 models.
