Not as much as you think bro...
Most that I can see are from the late sixties to early seventies, which have little collectors value.Couple of the Ghias might be of some interest though.I bet every floor pan in every one of them is rusted beyond use. Most every one of them will have rusted out heater channels too.Engines will be seized solid.Interiors will be useless mould. You might make one car by combing 10...if you're lucky.lol

One man junk is another mans gold.I see allot with good body panels. As far as the engines you would put a souped up engine something around 200 hp.

I was a VW only specialist from 1972 to 1979.I lived & breathed them until then.Over 100 rebuilds in the bank,30 plus restorations.I continued dabbling throughout my 48 year career as an auto mechanic.I learned to despise them as time went on, because you couldn't hardly find a quality part anymore, & refuse to use the piss-poor Chinese crap that dominates the aftermarket. It's safe to say I know what i'm talking about, over & above the factual statements I make.
P.S...search youtube for "Noofs turbo bug":It was my last big build for myself.307 RWHP. 12:09 @ 121 MPH.Quickest street car I ever owned bro.

Don't you wish you had that 61 in it's original state right now?

This was my last Bug, a 1972 2232cc Turbo.I generally ran 15psi boost on the street, & up to 30psi on track days.Sorry about the poor quality video.A good friend of mine wanted to go for a "ride" & wanted to record it for posterity:
