At night when servers get high traffic you get buffering because servers can't handle load.And the farther away from server the worst it gets.

I can go a week with no issues, then 2 or 3 days it gets bad, then starts over. But the last 3 or 4 days have been really bad.

I always have a backup service, so not a big deal for viewing. Every service has it's ups and downs. Hopefully this will pass.

Wicked is a good server as is a few other servers so allot more users are climbing aboard.

Live, like you mentioned a few streams are down. Some examples quickly through my favs list:
CA: Dejaview (shows scrambled message - oops)
CA: City TV Montreal (no stream)
CA: Global Montreal (no stream)
CA: LCN (no stream)
CA: COOKING CHANNEL (has been offline for about a week or 2 week now)

At least now we get a new colorful animation/message showing the stream is down, instead of a spinner which you wonder if it will ever start to stream :) Is that something new on your servr, or just one of the sources features ?

they work just give them a min to connect they only start when someone goes to them as they not high demand so not left on

Right now, the channels I had pointed out initially (https://www.satfix.to/showthread.php?216887-Wicked-down&p=1325112#post1325112) and still down (with the exception of LCN which is back).
Most of the others which I had not put down, seem to be back, but sometimes in the evenings, I do get a few streams extra which go offline for a few minutes (others works fine), and then come back a few minutes later.

Right now for example, there is something strange with CRAVE 2, 3 and 4. Crave 1, works perfectly fine on xrs4500 (both default and secondary players). Crave 2, 3 and 4, on default player, just get 1 frame as soon as I change channel, and then spinner.. On secondary player, I get the stream down waterfall animation.
On xpl3000, Crave 1 also works, but 2, 3 and 4 with Default player, will play video after hesitating for a while, but with NO audio. secondary and new player, just spin.

So there is something wrong with the streams. They are not completely dead, but other corrupted or something something strange.


Anyhow, hopefully they come back, and stabilize.

After changing Buzz 3900 to default player NOW pluto & other channels work , thanks. This Buzz 3900 can be temperamental..... I was experiencing a lot of buffering, looping with Ethernet/cat6 100 mbs ...switched to WiFi & buffering/looping disappeared.:rolleyes:

No epg on some channels is common with most servers.Some may and some not.Thats why I have tv guide websites I can look at.

epg loads just takeing a long time to load

we have been trying a few different epg providers and changing a few things like static file epg to try fix slow load times for epg

if you let sit on epg when not watching tv will help keep it loaded

this software swap should fix a number of issues but will take a couple days to reconfigure everything

WOW.. what an improvement. My xrs4500 now flies through the EPG, and loads up pretty much instantaneously. Nice work.

I also notices some streams that have been down for a while, are now back up (like CA: Cooking Channel).

24/7 are still down, and wife was a little upset, but I downloaded all 15 seasons of her favorite show, so she can stream them on Plex locally. Happy wife, happy life... :)

Feedback Using apk, EPG is all mixed up. I have Spanish EPG for US channels, no EPG for some channels.
streams just hang get spinning circle. In order to get working channel I need to go to a different one then let it sit then try another. When I do get stream to work, it buffers then gets stuck in a loop after watching for awhile.

It’s not my network, internet. Maybe try a different method stb emulator or different iptv app.

epg is not changing time zones for people, that will be looked into
its on right time for me but I am in a different time zone right now fixing stuff in one of the data center
I just logged into a pc in different time zone and ran blue stacks and the apk and see time is off so we will look into that asap

No buffering issues tonight. Been watching for the last 3 hours and it has been pretty solid (at least for the channels that work). There are still a few that are no stream.

Mine finally propagated at -2hours .....AFTER FIRST propagating at; +7hours; then +3hours; finally - 2hours. Tried offset the past week at -2hours at least a dozen times after clearing cache, rebooting, reseting router, etc. Nothing worked. This 3900 is finicky.... Lol

OK.. I just redid it on my xrs4500.. Turns out I was doing things too quickly and it was probably interfering with the reshuffle.
I would change the offset, then go immediately to the CLEAR EPG option, to try to force it to reload it. This would sometimes hang the app, and exit.. Then I'd go back in, and reload of EPG would not be shifted...
This time I changed it to -3, got back out to channel stream, and left it there for about 2 or 3 minutes (without doing anything) and bingo, all good.. Went back in and changed it to -2 (which is what I wanted) and left it alone, and it worked. So it is all synced.

Guess if you exit the app after changing the offset, will essentially halt the reshuffle, and not redo it later when you get back in (probably because it thought it was already done).

Anyhow, all good.

we building a new server right now with vod and series i have tested epg on it and it seems to work fine for me with no changes to offset

tests will be available soon to my clients

i will make a second dns and users can be on both for now and see witch you like better

new server so far has less internationals but has vod and series has all the usa and cad stuff just not all the other country channels yet

Wicked wants to freeze when you try to change channel then you have to reboot.Sometimes it will freeze on the channel your watching then have to reboot.Its doing it more frequently.Or it could be this buzz 3000 causing the problem.
