Facebook problems on Iphone

OK kids, here goes, I have a problem with a unknown name listed on my I phone for Facebook, (should be only my name) sometimes the phone will go to that unknown name and not to my regular name on Facebook.....

Now how the heck do I get rid of that name that I have no idea as to where it came from???? I have tried deleting it but it does not let me..

maybe this might help ? To delete a conversation or block a person on Messenger:

1. Open Messenger on your phone
2. Swipe left over the person's conversation
3. Click "Delete" or "More" to block the person

Well thanks for the info, but this person is not showing up as a message or in chat, but as a user in my Facebook settings, it lists me and this person, I didn't add them or have them use my phone, they just show as a user account.

on fb page do you see account tab?
maybe it can be removed there

To remove an account from your phone or mobile device:


Go to the login screen on the Facebook app.

Tap https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/assets/?revision=524788405169584&name=fb-bluelogingear-ios&density=1 at the bottom.

Tap [Your Name].

Tap Remove account.

Maybe this :


Tap the silhouette circle icon and select Switch Account.
Tap ⋮ next to the account you want to remove.
Tap Remove account and click Confirm.

I'm dealing with a similar issue as yours. Considering it took a while since you created the thread, I wonder if you managed to find a solution for that. I would be keen to find out how to sort it out. Currently, I'm thinking about developing my Instagram page using an organic instagram growth service (https://1394ta.org/), but I can't start it before I solve the first question. I would highly appreciate a piece of advice you could provide! I'm a bit obsessed with deleting it. Many thanks for considering my request! Cheers mate!

Auggie's solution worked out for me, looks like it was the guy that transferred my stuff from the old phone to the new one.
Deleted the account and everything went fine.(just be careful not to delete your account)
