Very unfortunate, war has sent some 6 million war refugees seeking a place to stay alive. Not just in Paris but every country in Europe

Judging by those tall buildings on the left,, it's a good indicator that is not Paris Center
There are no tall buildings in Paris Centre. Other than Two Hotels in Montparnasse, Paris Centre sky line is 4 - 6 stories high

Paris is one of the most beautiful cities on the planet ,, so much so, during WWII when Paris was lost to the French army, Hitler ordered is "Destroyer" General Dietrich Hugo Hermann von Choltitz to destroy Paris and leave no building standing.

When the General got there, he found it to be so beautiful he couldn't destroy it and so Hitler ordered him shot. Today he is known as the savior of Paris

The day I turned 50, I spent the afternoon drinking champagne atop the Eiffel Tower
