New to IPTV from IKS, just bought an XRS 4500 and got it hooked up with Wicked IPTV last night. Initially very impressed, smooth video, stable channels, hassle-free setup. Today it has crashed repeatedly in different contexts: upon wake-up from standby mode, while watching PVR recordings, running the SpeedTest apk. Each time it might get caught in a boot loop and reboot 2 or 3 more times. Now, watching live TV, streams freeze and buffer across the board despite a stable 75 mbps wired connection. I have the latest firmware installed. Any ideas? Do I have a doorstop on my hands??

Why would it ever be a doorstop?
I would do a reset ,you might want to look at doing a hard reset
Is wifi off?

I had same issue. Tried everything. No go
Not a doorstop, just trashed it.
That was my last Buzztv box, moved on

When you initially booted the box up for the first time ever did it prompt you about any updates being available? Have you installed any apps whatsoever on the unit as yet?

That's a serious mentality you have there bro. You would do well walking across the Sahara desert since you like alot of moving on.

Yes, updated to the latest firmware etc. I did try installing a couple old versions of Netflix in attempts to get HD to work before resigning myself to the stock apk. Some of the poor behaviour described was on a WiFi connection before I hooked up the hard line. After giving it a minute to rest with the power unplugged and wifi turned off it seems to have settled down somewhat. Crossing my fingers a factory wipe isn't required...
You need to get an air mouse to run Netflix properly

You need a licensing agreement to get HD on netflix

Why is that stupid?
Bought a 4 gig Android box $70 running Tivimate with 4 servers.
Best method of any box out there.
I've been in this game since early 80's, so keep your personal attacks to your self.
I've spent decades and tons of money testing. I'm still testing.
Buzztv is not the way to go. Not for that kind of money.

Its stupid because you could have returned it and got your money back. I dont see how that could be considered anything else.
Youre happy with your setup. Thats fine ,but keep your bashing to yourself and stay out of the buzz forum!!

the mentality in this hobby has always been "if you can't afford or aren't prepared to lose your money don't buy anything"
no one expects to return anything and anyone that does is usually wasting their time and quite likely more money
there was only one person bashing in this thread
