cemetary in the falls for 1812 soldiers is still intact and I believe it will remain that way forever

Are you refering to the one in NOTL?We pass that one cycling at least 8 times a year.I've walked through it several times.Pretty humbling.

there were several battles during 1812-14
battle of lundy's lane
drummond rd was named after the general
laura secord was buried there as well
I think you're referring to brock monument
it even has a cell at the base
went there a lot as kid with my dad and a metal detector
have thousands of musket balls plus 2 rifles which my dad donated to falls museum

Not that one bro:there is one right near the waterfront in NOTL, across from that beautiful restaurant.I can;t remember the name though.You are correct about the grave yards & monuments though.Many to visit.It's my favourite bike ride by far.

I've been to NOTL many times, just love it there. I think the most humbling cemetery I have been to is Arlington, just staggering to see half a million war graves in one place.

The Queens Landing...459.00 a night.lol.
Had a beer on the patio there a few years ago.Beautiful place.There is a military grave yard near by.

I grew up in N-O-T-L, There was Butler's burial grounds (Butler's Rangers) Don't know if it was preserved because the area is now a subdivision NW of Niagara Stone Road & Mary Street.
