OK kids, going through the junk bins in the garage and found a bunch of these hummer's......I have no idea on what they were for or what they are, and the markings are too faded to read.

They have no continuity to any lead, and even the meg ohm readings show open, I'm trying to find the megger insulation tester (5000 volts when cranked fast) but no such luck as yet. (I might have used it to get worms, if so it's out on the house boat)

I think it's a high voltage MOV, but I could be wrong

Any ideas????

It's about 3/8 of an inch in diameter, and 1/2 inch long.

I think it's a form of Triac...........you could test it out

A triac would show up in a diode test setup, nothing shows up in any direction using this test method.
