hi everyone my reciever keeps saying scamble sometimes it says the ethernet cable is not connected has anyone else have this problem been down for a week now driving me crazy lol

Simplest "try this" would be to swap out the lan cable.If it connects for awhile as it is, I don't think you have a settings issue..Are you going directly to the router/modem, or via some kind of switch or repeater?

i have a ethernet cable going directly to receiver to modem ,i tryed to cables still the same.i switched my provider from primus to virgin and ever since i did i have been having this issue,thank you for helping me figure this out

Also in receiver Network Settings, make sure it is set to DHCP & not the Static setting
You may need to Reboot everything (receiver,modem/router) so that the Modem/router will assign a New IP to the Receiver

May or may not be a coincidence that your woes started with an internet provider change.Any chance you could try the unit at another residence, or vpn your modem/router ???Were you provided with a different modem when you changed providers?

In the T5 network settings are all the Fields/headings being populated with numbers etc. or is it just Blank ?
Also can you Log into Modem/router and check to see if the Modem/router recognizes/sees the T5 (by IP Address Given)

ya a new modem with provider.if i plud the dlink into new modem it will light up yellow but wont connect,when i plug receiver in modem nothing lights up.I not sure but dosen t it usually light up green when ethernet is pluged into modem

on server setup the ip address,port ,id ,password,des key,all say nothing

Do you have a computer at home?If so,ping the providers i.p & see if it connects.Will eliminate an i.p block at least.

Sorry...missed this post.If none of those fields are populated, the t5 has no internet.For giggles, I would reload all software & strt over.You never know...

DID you have the T5 working before you changed over to new internet provider, and do you belong/sub to a IKS provider
cause you have to input the information that was supplied to you by your IKS provider ( ip address,port ,id ,password,des key)

thanks again for all your help.on network setting its reading all addresses now butwhen i go on server setup its says dummy and on the part where it has ip,port,password,des key its says nothing ,

Fill in each line one by one top to bottom (no mistakes) when ALL INFO is in, then push exit button, a Box will open asking you to save it, select !!YES!! You should be GO-TOO-GO from there, (make sure IT IS SET TO DHCP & not Static)
Also you may have to Re-Boot "EVERYTHING" (MODEM/ROUTER, & T5) so that the T5 will get assigned a IP address from modem/router.
