How do i change downloads from loading into media player?

Right-click on the "Downloads" folder and click on the "Properties" option. "Downloads Properties" window will appear on the screen and click on the "Location" tab. Now, click on the "Move" button to change the default download location and click on the "Apply" button to proceed.

How do i change downloads from loading into media player?


what Browser Chrome, FireFox, Opera, etc. in options for each, should be a place where to save files to (HD/drive/folder=downloads)
and it is probably set to Open with media player automatically, need to uncheck that option in the default settings in program options
Basically you want to save it first to HD folder where you tell it, and once there Right click file and OPEN WITH What ever Program you choose/use or set as default for it to open/play etc. I use VLC For pretty much all my video/audio stuff, plays anything you through at it.
