I was looking at these and is it worth the upgrade from an older XPL3000? I have a few of these and are working well like the day I first bought them so is there any advantage to upgrading to any of the newer boxes?

My channel change speed is pretty good now. Does it make the picture any better? Im kinda itching to buy something newer but not sure if they would make a difference for me only watching live tv with it. If I did decide to try something new, which one of the newer buzz boxes would you recommend DU? I assume you have most of them already....lol.

Went to the Buzztvglobal and it doesnt show the XRS4500 on the canadian website, only the US site......
When you use the link in the 1st post, its there until you want to shop Canada, then its gone.....Just the XRS4000

That link brings up the XR 4500. Looks like only the US has the XRS 4500. Unless they are the same......

I just googled them and the XR is 2GB/16GB and the XRS is 4GB/32GB. Pretty close I guess.......

if you order from shop usa they will adjust the price to cdn

Just hope there is no duties if they ship it from the US. Wierd why they wouldnt have them on the CDN site.

Buy the 4900 you will not regret it. It's fast and I have had zero issues with it since I bought one. It's my favorite box in the house. The extra 2GB of ram makes all worth while.

If you order from the US site and you are in Canada, (I ordered my 4900 this way) they will ship from Canada. You pay for it in U.S. dollars and your credit card company or PayPall will covert the value to Canadian dollars. You have the choice of who will do the conversion for you. It does ship from Canada. No duties and free shipping.
