This summer has been brutal and were half way through it. A couple of weeks ago we had that heat dome....brutal. 800+ people died when in the same time years before would be 200+. So many elderly people with no air conditioning and no escape, and as if that wasn't bad enough people scared to go to a hospital because of covid. You would think all that would be bad enough, but oh no, we had much more for the people dying at home. Ambulance response for people (in the lower mainland) took in 3-4 hours.

I welcome the fall and rain......Covid, you can go with this summer as well.

I live in BC and as far as I am concerned we are run by complete idiots. Where I live we are burning up literally with little to no response as the bush burns to the ground.

This is the view outside my best buds home. I have spent the last 5 days there dropping trees and soaking the field. It's coming fast. Poor elk and deer are being vaporized they are so freaked out. :(

That's hard to take on. People never, in that position will likely ever understand just how brutal that is on real peoples lives. I hope and prey for you and your friends bro. No end in heat and lack of rain for at least a week. Higher heat and no rain continues for a week or more for the lower mainland as well. Hopefully rain starts earlier than the normal PNE start cause if its raining then, I'll happily go.

Most of B.C is in much better shape now due to cooler temps and a little rain. Again, a little odd for the interior because this month would normally be the driest and hottest. Maybe the climate gods said B.C has suffered enough.....this year.
