Xrs 4000

Just picked up the XRS 4000 and cant seem to get it to connect using username/password. My other sub is fine, which just uses a mac addy. I did read somewhere in the forum that there was an issue with username/password connecting but it may have been an older thread. Is this an issue with the box or service? I have a couple 3000's using username/password with no probs......
It comes up with 'Sub Expired ot Not Activated' Its not expired as I have a panel......

I figured it out but it wouldnt connect using mac, I had to use XC API login. I this correct? Is there a reason it wouldnt use the user/pass when inputting the info usung mac? There are 3 options, mac, api and m3u. I have OK2 connected with mac but had to use api for wickediptv using user/pass.

xc api is for user/pass

Ok, thanks. In the mac section, it does allow you to input user credentials and password like the xpl 3000 does. Thats why I couldnt get it to connect. Wonder why under mac address, it lets you put user/pass in if it doesnt work?
Either way, seems to be a nice upgrade from the 3000.

Ok, all good but a new question.....
I just did the same box for a buddy and in the menu->configuration there is an option for fast load epg (on/off). Mine doesnt have that. When I did the other box, it also did a system update. Does that mean it uses Buzztv5? I already gave the other box back so I cant check it.

Ok, so how did the 1st 4000 get that option but not mine? Is there something I missed when doing mine the other day compared to the one I did earlier? Not a biggie as the guide loads quick anyways, just wondering......

Do I open up an RMA ticket? It says for returns unless there is another support section that Im not seeing on their website.

I was gonna just factory reset it and start all over but now Ill wait till they respond from the RMA Ticket.

Here is the reply I got from Buzz:

V20201219 And 4.0.494 update to date, the 496 is not relased yet, you can not get update to that, ask whom ever has it to find how he got that.
