Yeah, not just those that fought. Most of the population sacrificed and came together to help the war effort. I wonder if today’s generation would even come close to what previous generations accomplished.

If enlistment was by conscription rather than by draft, I'm willing to bet the armies would be much smaller...

You would have to allow smart phones and internet access to get them on the battlefield,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
