there is a fire retardant that is available, but expensive i recall several years ago some person in Oakland , Ca used it and save his house, if you live in the forest then you better have some protection regardless what it costs because some damn fie bug is going to set a fire and burn your house down, these sick MFO cause so much damage every year and real hard to catch, authorities know when lighting strikes start fires, the rest are by some A-hole
