I took 74GB of data and over 42,000 snapshots (with videos) to make this 1GB image, which is arguably my biggest achievement in astrophotography so far. Stars have been observed on another part of the sky and added in processing. The colors reflect the mineral composition of the Moon: orange areas are composed of iron oxydes while blue/purple areas are rich in titanium.
My setup: a Maksutov 150/1800 telescope on a HEQ5 Pro mount, taken with an iNova PLB Cx camera.
