any way the last couple days unit has been shutting down and rebooting and I get the Alarm Received then shuts down and reboots after a minute 2. running ok3

also when I hit live tv, it reboots and shuts down, then alarm received not sure what's going on..
then I get no signal, and box reboots, over and over...

try a different hdmi cable

cable works fine on my other buzz boxes, also the VOD works.
so i think it has some thing to do with ok3

are you using the buzztv app to watch ok3 on? Do you have something like tivimate you could try to see if the problem still exists? The Alarm received is suppose to be fixed on the next update.

I have no issues on my 4900 using ok3
as for the cable my neighbour last week used the cable from his working cheap box on a buzz and got no signal
changed cables and pic came on instantly

Yup sounds like an hdmi cable issue

Well I did not do anything and the box ran all night with no reboots.. not sure was going on it fixed its self lol

Been getting alarm recieved and shuts down reboots and repeat its self..

I always get the alarm received message as well and this is suppose to be fixed with the next update. My box doesn't reboot though after the alarm is received. I just shut the app off off when given the choice.

just a heads up if any one tries this, write down the server url as you will loose it and you will loose all favorite channels saved.

Alarm recieved msg pops up almost everytime on my screen also a few time
msg about crash or closes appears
seems like a factory refresh might be needed or data clearing/ purge.
i thought i was the only one seeing this

alarm means nothing ,its left over from earlier update
pm me your mac and ill see about firmware update for you

Well I'm still getting disconnects and reboots. it seems as if its the server, not sure but I can watch certain channels with hardly any issues and then the others reboot reboot stutter freeze up. maybe I need to do the nasty Hard Reset?

also let me add I can watch other stuff like pluto cinema amazon with hardly to no issues.
not sure what's going on but Im still trying to learn these new toys!

also I can unplug box, plug back in and it will reboot over several times if it wants to, b4 it connects.
some thing is Possessed lol

Its a problem no one knows my 2 3000's was doing same thing I have a thread on this issue.A hard reset didn't help.

not complaining at all, Box is having issues no biggie, I Love the Buzz, so it has a hick up and we can figure it out in time. Thats why we are testers! Thanks nbs

ok couple days ago it finally loaded the fix you sent, it took 2 days before it would fully load, kept booting and resetting..
and Now it has been running better than ever!
