an ambulance took my 11-year-old suffering from a severe asthma attack 31 miles. They sent me a bill for $9,785 for the 40-minute ride. Insurance paid $677.97. Got free O2. My outstanding bill is $8,999.

in my area they have a thing called Silver Savers you pay $50 a year and get max 4 rides but they still bill the insurance and there is no co-pay for the patient and that bill is redicilious, what...

Many years ago I was at a Cross Country Ski race as a participant. It was a mass start and as luck would have it I crossed skis with someone else. The outcome was that I separated my shoulder. The closest hospital was 30-40 miles away. I can't remember why they never used the ambulance but I ended up getting transported via helicopter. To this day I have not seen any bill for this service. Viva Canada.......

what ever your insurance EOB says you owe thats what you have to pay, they have a contract you you do not have to pay the difference this medical business overcharges everything and at the end of...
