C Band Chaparral LNB

Hello guys, I have an old Chaparral LNB with corottor but I want to use it on a stationary dish, What settings should I have on a SV4000? I know LNB Freq is 5150 but what else, I just want to aim to a sat and get quality, don't want to scan channels, just to test C band for aiming until I fine tune my aiming for C band, like I always have said, I never tested C band, only KU, this is my first time and I am not looking for channels, just aiming, ty ALL in advance TURBO.

With the exception of the lnb frequency being 5150, Turbo the same settings as if you were setting up a linear sat. Does your stb have a skew setting in the install menu like the pansat?

Nope, but I can then us the Pansat3500, I wanted to use SV4000 but if Pansat is better, I already removed the blue box the LNB had to do the skew manually.

You can use whichever stb you like but the pansat will skew with your remote whereas the other stb you will need to skew your lnb outside. I would choose the remote any day lol.:thumbsup:

I understand your point, but I prefer to do it manually to learn and understand the C band world, when I get the feeling of this I am sure I'll use the remote. TY Costa.
