Hey guys and gals, woke up to the box stuck on the boot screen on Sunday.

Tried the 8888 and it went into reboot and the android guy came onto the screen with Chinese writing below. Never seen this and I can not read it.....any translators? I'm guessing it says f you get a new box :tehe:

I unplugged it yesterday for about 9 hours, no change. Tried the 8888 again and it just keeps rebooting with this screen.

I really like this box, but feels like it's to clear a spot at the landfill29206

The Chinese characters loosely translate to "so solly...you fooked".

Thanks....I did this, letting it just sit while I go back to work. It initially gave me the same screen as before. I'll check it when I get home.

The characters actually say buy decent box like a.... Buzz box lol

pop the top and look for blown or puffy capacitors ,easy fix,if you like the box. check power module.I'm no electrician but any time anything here f==ks up,I look at the caps and even use old caps from different units,as long as they match. cut their legs off high and resolder just a thought.

Had a global box before as well, definitely a keeper if possible.

I may do this as I repair other receivers also.
