Look at all the sculptures on the bow ....
It's curious the builders would go the extra mile and pay for such detail
It was a thing in ancient war to put on display the bodies of the opposing army
the idea was for scare/shock value ....
I wonder if that's what's going on here ,, or merely artistic detail
either way its beautiful

I recently saw a show about this ship on TV. She sank only a few hundred yards into her maiden voyage. The cannon ports were open to fire a salute, the sails caught a strong gust of wind and the ship heeled over, water poured into the gun ports and she sank.
Really !!
A gust of wind toppled it ??
Imagine,,, built for war !! Equipped with intricate sculptures of war gods
Protector of Swedish navy, waters and ports -- Protector of Swedish women and children
Toppled by a gust of wind !! What a POS ---- LOL
