Hi all!!!

I was hoping to get some help with an issue I'm having. I have 2 Nvidia Shields running Tivimate and both have OK2 on them. One has almost all the EPG/guide for the channels while the other has about %50ish of them. I cant seem to figure out why. The only difference is that one of them was set up with a MAC and the other with an M3U. To make things worse I don't remember which one is which. Is there a way to check that?
P.S. I have obviously tried updating the EPG from within Tivimate multiple times and each time it says it was successful but it's the same thing.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

so iv been going back and forth between the 2 and I think I figured out which one has a MAC and which has an M3U. The one that isn't working correctly just has the ok2 URL under the EPG setting of Tivimate with no actual URL, I believe that is the one with the MAC. The other box on the other hand has a full URL with the "username/password" in the EPG settings.
How do I fix this?

If you are using a MAC account, you should not need to explicitly specify anything for the EPG. All you have is your MAC and the Portal URL, that's it.

BTW: I am assuming you are using a legit version of Tivimate (ie: purchased and not any of the poorly hacked versions out there). The hacked versions had all sorts of issues with EPG, and databases growing out of proportion. Did you try clearing the cache for tivimate ? Worst case, try clearing the Data, and then recreate the server entry (obviously make sure to take note of the MAC you are using - and you have the simple url you mentioned above) ?

PS: Please remove the URL you mentioned above. As simple as it is, we should not post them openly. Thanks.

%1000000 its a legit copy of Tivimate, it's an amazing app well worth it! I guess all I need to do is copy down the MAC from within Tivimate and then try clearing the data.
Sorry about the URL, ill get rid of it.

what does xc API mean?

xtreme codes
it's like m3u but doesn't require an epg url
just url,username and password

I completely agree with buying it if you plan to use it and use generic android boxes. I use primarily BuzzTV boxes so no need for tivimate, but I agree that Tivimate will provide the best UI for any generic android box used for IPTV.

XC is "Xtreme Codes". That is the API that is used by most of the IPTV providers, where all you need to provide is a portal URL username/password and don't need the long m3u URLs with embedded username/passwords.

So I've been doing some more research on this turns out that Tivimate has an issue with EPG using Staker/MAC. From what I can tell I'm definitely not the only one with this issue. The sub on this one ends in September so when I renew it I'll make sure to get XC.
