Hello, Sadly my brother who always looked after this setup passed away recently. I got the renewal and code reset no problem, well little bit of a learning curve. We had a huge thunder storm a couple weeks back and I get the message no signal or poor signal. When I scan it show 98% and 97% on Nimiq 1 and 2 connections but it won't come on. Do I need to do a factory reset. I don't want to make it worse. Thank you in advance for any help. I have a Dreamlink T5

Are your signal graphs red or blue?

signal is for reading that lnb is connected
quality is what you want

S but no Q indicates no sat signal returned from the lnb.Dish has moved in the storm is my best guess.

How are you setup, need more info on equipment being used (LNB's Switches, cabling, etc.) to be able to help better
Dish signal "Quality" bars should be Blue, and should say locked for 91/82 top right on TV screen under Dish Settings in menu
But I would concur with The Noof Dish must have moved in Storm.

Thanks for your responses. We had dumps of heavy snow in the spring and the dish didn't move, so I would be surprised if a thunderstorm would have moved it. But I will try that as my signal graphs are red. Thank you everyone.

that's pretty close, but Quality is actually the Bit Error Rate ... so if either the the Symbol Rate (SR) or the Forward Error Correction (FEC) aren't correct you will get no quality, even if the dish if properly aligned ... pretty easy to check though ...
