View Full Version : Need refresh every time box is turned on

Using wicked and using Mac

For a couple months now my box needs a reboot or refresh all the time

If I watch something live and then go to Home Screen to look at vod or tv series …..nothing will load …..until I refresh ….sometimes a few times …..sometimes nothing but a restart will work

Very unstable …..never used to be

I am guessing a full factory reset is needed ?

Try clicking VOD button on remote instead of going back to home screen. To get back to live tv then hit live tv button on remote. See what happens

I am not sure what iptv version...how can I check?

under check for updates it shows V20210422 ....says up to date

under buzz tv settings it shows v1.210324

under kernel it shows kernel 4.9.113

under build it shows V20210422.20210422 test-keys

firmware is old
if you press menu button iptv version is at the bottom

ok so iptv version is

4.0.549

do I need to update firmware? wonder why it tells me it is up to date when clicking on update

send an email to
[email protected] with server id,model number and current version and ask to get beta updates

I'm glad this was brought up, I have had the x5 for roughly a month. The past week it seems that the box drops its internet connection. A reboot is needed each time, first I notice that the iptv channel freezes, i cant change it, and then i press the home button and try to load the google play store and nothing.

because its the same issue on a different box, so its a software issue that on multiple boxes? who cares what box, or thread its in, not the end of the world? Was seeking some help i guess

it's not the same
and you don't get help by hijacking someone's thread
start your own thread in correct section and try posting some info
never mind software you don't even mention how you're connected to the internet

The site cares what thread it is in. If everyone posted where they wanted no one would get any help
Also just because an issue sounds the same doesn't mean it is!
You'll have no issues getting help Just follow the rules.
