While working on some other gear in my TV cabinet, I inadvertently shoved my Dreamlink T5 back into the enclosure and I believe I heard a "snap" and the TV screen suddenly indicated "Scrambled". My guess is I damaged the line input connection from the dish or perhaps the USB or internet line connections???
I have since tried new power supplies (OK) and plugging the receiver into another tv connection but no luck. It will play prerecorded programs via USB sticks. This would suggest a problem with the signal processing or connectors for coax cable, etc. Since these receivers are very difficult to find, I am going to open the unit up and see what I can see for problem areas. I don't have much solid state experience but I used to restore antique radios and am used to soldering and all that. Anyway, nothing lost if I screw up as it pretty much a brick now. Any suggestions as to the most likely cause?
Thanks
