Back in the 90's and early 2000's I was quite involved with H Cards, HU Cards and "PGM's" emulation for DirectTV.

Anyways, I was looking around to find a fix for EPG woes and found this forum and thought that I should join.

Welcome aboard...you go back ALMOST as far as I do.lol.
You didn't mention what box,access method, or provider.

Right now I'm just using IPTV on FireTV sticks through a provider called Pitbull. Compared to the days of unloopers, programmers, bootloaders and full blown EMU setups, IPTV is pretty simplistic. I do miss the days of digging into the code and coming up with a fix for hashing or USW updates etc.

Sure brings back memories. I think I still have a few new P4 cards. Threw away my unlooper. Did a lot of cards.

I recently tossed out a bunch of emu cards, unloopers, loaders, emu pc's etc.
I miss the constant struggle required to keep our systems up and running, I also miss digging into the code and loggers to figure out what the hit was and how to circumvent it.

Lots of great minds came together back in those days (Zap , InTek, Kayo, dssmili, Larmo, Leafer, Marcus, TripleC, Ump25, Futureshock, PGM, Carion Kid)

pulse width modulation controller for my kayak
trolling motor
still got a few nfusions coolsats ipro1000
301s hu cards buried in my closet

yup iptv much easier you can test iptv too
there are a few in here that do.you dont need to spend
any money to test iptv and it is fun like playin the slots
at a casino waiting for hits its also quite a bit safer too
easier on the pocketbook for sure and you have access to all
iptv servers and it goes futher netflix hulu hbo go dazn spotify
xfinity xbox live to much to list.....need coupons for starbucks lol

i still have a couple of dtv receivers that have a P-5 card in them , the last time i checked they still worked, someone in this area knew how to program them, i do not have them plugged in for some time, got them at a garage sale

Welcome Gunny. I went across the boarder and purchased the DTV kit. Removed the card and left the parking lot littered with sat dishes and receivers.
