I may have been a "tad" off ,, these dogs jump much further

Vhoebe, 3, jumped 31-feet-5-inches during the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge at the Del Mar Arena, breaking the previous record of 31-feet-2-inches.
“It was unbelievable,” said Lisa Strum, Vhoebe’s owner. “This really is her joy. If she could tell me what she’s passionate about, it’d be this.”


The competition entailed Vhoebe running 40 feet to the end of a dock, then jumping as far as she could into a 40 foot pool. Strum would throw an object while Vhoebe was running at full speed so the dog would leap off the dock.
This is not the first time Vhoebe set the record. She did it last year at the fairgrounds by jumping 31-feet-1-inch. But then a dog in St. Louis broke it days later by jumping one inch farther.

Some of my dogs do dock diving competition. Same thing but it is a distance jump into a pool.
