XRS 4500 Issue

I have a friends XRS 4500 here and it keeps saying 'stream not available'. I had him clear cache, data reset and finally factory reset. It would work once and then when he would try it again later, wouldn't work, so I had him give me the box. I had it going today for a few hours and 3-4 reboots until the last time and again nothing works.
I looked at the update page and noticed a difference in the updates.
I uploaded 2 pics and the one that has the firmware V20220106 and the buzztv update in the top right corner is 2.211105 is mine and no issues. The V20220919 and buzztv update 2.220914 is the one that keeps messing up no matter what I try. I also noticed that when I was on a channel and then go to the home page where the channel would still be displayed on the right hand side keeps going on and off every few seconds, although no channel is playing since it said 'stream not available'
Anyone have any idea what to do or is there something wrong with the box?

Just noticed after posting that the images won't upload for some reason.

check for update
enter 2015 before leaving update screen

But the wierd thing is that the one with the newer version is the one thats not working.......
Also, is there a reason I can't upload the images to make it easier to see them?
Would uninstalling updates be worth it as he already did a factory reset?

did you try the other video player?

Sure did. The last thing I could think of is why the versions and updates are different. Mine is just the 4500 and his is 4500 max. Would that make them different? I have always updated mine but they are older than my buddy's.

I was experiencing the same message & seen this posted somewhere in this forum while doing a search

Switch “stream format” from TS to M3U/HLS. It worked for me and haven’t seen the message since.

I’m at 799 btw
I can’t remember where it began but it was like 795 or 796 something like that. There where two quick updates and that’s when I first noticed it.

So, I tried a hard reset again and it seems to be ok. If it acts up again, do I assume that the box is done for?

if it acts up again maybe an update will fix it

Do you mean a future update? Still don't know why the updates are different than my 4500. Is it because his is the max model?

not all models have the same firmware

Well, did the hard reset and it worked again for a bit. Powered it on/off 4-5 times in the last few hours to make sure all was good and this last time, back to 'stream not available' again.
Guess it's just time for a new box.....Things happen.

You sure it is not your provider having issue ?

Try using Pluto TV M3U list ? Just to see if it is the specific server it doesn't like...

I emailed Buzz and they think the mac addy could have been cloned. Is there a way to change mac address on the XRS 4500?

Was just coming to post that....The Buzz team said in an email that it was likely that the mac addy was cloned.
