if cc holder didn't have a us addy it was cancelled and refunded
it was for 24 hours to allow locals best seats

Ticketmaster is its own entity and doesn't take orders from the NHL or any other Professional team ,, they have (contractually) already purchased the tickets and their objective is to sell them at a profit ... Filtering purchases by Addy, although not impossible,, sounds unreasonable,, why not just sell off the sh*t seats in the requested sections to Canadian Addy's and keep the better ones for the US'ers

the nhl can refuse them the opportunity to resell
a simple one paragraph contract would take care of that if they censor who gets to buy them
they could simply tell ron I mean the florida panthers that this crap will not be tolerated
go to any regular season game in toronto and the scalpers promote the visiting team...lol
