Hello gang, this transmission came from 1996 Chevrolet S10 2.2L, the owner tells me is a 4L60E but not sure, I will begin taking it apart tomorrow and upload photos for others who will like to rebuild their own.......TP2957129572

I can smell that from here...lol.Transfer plate in the valve body has seen water.Needs frictions, maybe steels.can't see accurate thickness of the brake bands, but likely time. The ususal for a tired unit.

I did notice it was repaired before because both accumulator are aluminum and I know they are plastic from factory, water is because it has been sitting on the floor for 8 years, Band looks pretty good but I don't like to re use things on an Automatic transmission, I like to do a job once, no come backs, tomorrow I will completely take it apart and more photos, when the transmission went bad he made it manual from another S10 4 cylinder and now he is tired of clutch and wants automatic again, lol......

I agree with you Noof, what I was trying to say this transmission went through a flood in 2017...............TP

If I had to assume responsibility for the work, & believe me you do,you should have your say in the quality of the parts to protect yourself AND your work ethics. If the customer insists on Chinese parts, make sure you protect yourself by stating clearly that there's NO WARRANTY regarding parts failures & the labour to correct any parts related failure is not your responsibilty Turbo.

Exactly what I told him, I don't know if it's Chinese but the brand is Transtar, I always use Borg Wagner or Raybestos....2958729585295882958629584

When I supplied trans parts it was o.e. only, but I did use customer supplied Warner parts several times with good success.
