I'm not saying it's not nuts but that's almost 9000sq feet with floor to ceiling windows. I'd wager that wouldn't come cheap in any large city.

I'm inclined to believe that's a misprint and it's only 822 sq ft. ... 1 bedroom, 1 bath in 9000 sq. ft ... something doesn't add up

I wouldn't blame the chinese so much as our own politicians who are supposed to be acting in our best interests. This can all be undone with a stroke of the pen in Ottawa or the provinces (depending on jurisdiction) except for the fact none of those bozos have a problem finding a cozy place to live for themselves and their families. Sadly anymore all these guys/gals are good at is finding creative ways to increase tax revenue.

You're probably right but I pictured this being a loft built from an old warehouse. Not sure why they would cram this much against the wall though lol.
