Ok4 freezing issues

Anybody else experiencing freezing with ok4 tonight? It's happening on every channel. Tried resetting modem. No luck

No complaints about freezing, but I have a few customers which complain many evenings (last 2 weeks) that many streams are being blocked. Local large ISP in montreal area is blocking now and seems to be targeted. Using a VPN seems to bypass the issue. Confirmed with a few members on this forum also. Those who don't have VPN (or refused to get one), I have migrated to OK3 (which is not affected for now).


If you have VPN, try turning VPN on. Maybe your ISP is throttling.

Right now, no issues with OK2 or OK3 without VPN (yes in Canada). Honestly never tried them with VPN so can't really comment.

But OK4, it has been about 2 weeks, that one of our major cable internet providers (v1deotr0n and one of their flanker brands f1zz here in kebec ) have been blocking during prime time. On the weekend as soon as the football game kickoffs started, I started getting all sorts of messages (even from acquaintances that are using OK4 and not on my panel) :). For those with a VPN, it solves the problem. But some don't want to get a VPN or simply don't want to bother. If they are on my panel I offer to move them to ok3 for now.

I'm good with it, but I know some don't like it. One of my buddies is away on business, and he just spoke to his wife and she gave him an ear full :) Luckily he remembered his other box was still on OK2.

Guess different providers are blocking different services.
One of my customers has an OK2 sub and OK4 sub with me on 2 different boxes. OK4 seems to be blocked during sporting events (and prime time), but his OK2 seems to be OK for now :)

Good to know about OK3.

havent had a problem with this isp blocking would that cause freezing
i doubt it may be wrong but has anyone tried this maybe some of these isp`s
allow you to turn off security im new to this one.
